Patti MacDonald, President, Director & former Competition Organizer, USA Dance, Royal Palm Chapter

Our Board of Directors expresses our appreciation and recognition to our long-time past Organizer, Patti MacDonald, who retired from that position on December 31, 2017, after successfully organizing this Competition for over 12 years, having served as President and on the Board of the Royal Palm Chapter for 15 years.
We all owe her a debt of gratitude!

Our 9 Member Board of Directors also honors and expresses our gratitude to Patti MacDonald, our long-time past President and Director of the USA Dance Royal Palm Chapter, and long-time Organizer of the Royal Palm Dancesport Competition. Patti retired from that position on December 31, 2017, after successfully organizing this Competition for over 12 years, having served as President and on the Board of Directors of the Royal Palm Chapter for 15 years. She did an excellent job as Organizer of this highly successful, well run, and well-attended previously all-amateur event over that extended period of time. Along with her husband, Les MacDonald, also a long-time Director of our Chapter, Patti truly deserves and receives our kudos, recognition and appreciation.

We are grateful to Patti for her continued involvement and service to our Chapter as a Member of our Advisory Board, and now also as Host of one of our monthly Chapter Dances – on the 3rd Thursday of every month at Delray Ballroom in Delray Beach, FL.

Our Board of Directors also honors and expresses our gratitude to Carolyne New, long-time past Treasurer and Director of the USA Dance Royal Palm Chapter. For approximately 15 years, Carolyne, who is a CPA, did an exceptional job as the Treasurer of our Chapter, and kept the Chapter financially sound and strong over all those years.

In addition, Carolyne has spearheaded our Chapter’s Outreach Program to FAU Students, sponsoring a program providing ballroom dance training to the Students and sponsoring their participation in our annual Royal Palm Dancesport Competition. Like Patti and Les, Carolyne and her husband Jim, also a past director of our Chapter, truly deserve and receive our kudos, recognition and appreciation.
